Unfortunately, you will need to spend some money on preparing your application, documentation, visa application, and airfare. The fees you need to pay are related to getting a criminal record check, ordering official university transcripts and so on. The good news is that these fees are not very high; furthermore, your airfare will be reimbursed within the first month after your arrival.
