Nami Island
The Island is located in the middle of North Han River and its area is about 114 acre. It was not an Island until Cheongpyung Dam was built in 1943. The place is noted for its scenic beauty and one of popular rural destination especially, for couples. A few years ago, most famous scene of Korean drama “winter sonata” had been taken on this Island, since then many Japanese and Chinese visitors are coming to see the place.
They offer English on their website. So if you are interested in, please spend little time to see what’s there.

Accommodation
The pension we are staying is located right next to Han River so fresh air and nice atmosphere are always there. We are going to sleep in a tent found in the picture below, but inner side of it is comfortable and luxury as you can see. However to cut down the cost of lodging, 8 ~ 9 people may have to share a huge tent which is enough to hold 10 people. Another thing I have to tell you is that we are using public shower and rest room. They have very clean and nice facilities, also run the water sports activities and ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle). There is a fire place and we will be offered some bake potatoes out of it.
